The evening’s special featured heart hero is Eloise Howell. At 9 months old, Eloise was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect. This beautiful, outgoing, courageous little girl had open heart surgery January 6, 2017 to repair the defect and was released to come home January 12, her 5th birthday. Eloise has since made a remarkable recovery. The Howell Family will share their story and highlight why the mission of the American Heart Association to support cardiovascular research and education is more critical than ever.
