Throughout the pandemic, the American Heart Association’s top priority has been the health and well-being of our survivors, volunteers, guests and staff. Thanks to your unwavering support, we have adapted quickly to the ever-evolving landscape as we all do our part to face this pandemic head on. As you undoubtedly know, COVID-19 cases are on the rise, leading to a higher community spread while negatively impacting hospitals and their staff. After reviewing the current COVID-19 situation in our area, we have determined the best course of action is to postpone the event until February 2023. Please stay tuned for more information.
We want you to know that every option was thoroughly considered before this decision was made. As an organization dedicated to saving and improving lives, our priority is to protect our guests and staff – especially our survivors who are most at risk of serious illness – as well as to do our part to reduce the impact to our local hospitals and their resources. As always, thank you for your understanding and ongoing support of our mission. We look forward to celebrating with you soon, and please stay tuned for more information.
Although we are disappointed that our luncheon has been postponed due to the ongoing pandemic, we are excited to announce that our Silent Auction will be available for online bidding! The auction will open on February 4th and close on February 9th. Visit https://event.gives/longviewgored to bid.
