Sandra Clark

Sandra serves as an attorney for personal injury defense at MehaffyWeber. She was one of two MehaffyWeber attorneys who obtained one of the top 10 defense verdicts recognized by the National Law Journal in 2001. Sandra has been listed in the Best Lawyers in America since 2000 and Texas Monthly Super Lawyers since 2003 as well as Top 50 Female Super Lawyers in Texas and Top 100 Super Lawyers in the Houston Area for 2006 and 2007. We are honoring Sandra for her committment to helping the Golden Triangle community.

Ellen Rienstra

Ellen Walker Rienstra is a sixth-generation Southeast Texan and a lifelong resident of Beaumont. She is the author of several histories and historical articles, including A Pride of Kin, a book of family stories co-written with Callie Coe Wilson and one of three books chosen to launch Texas A & M Press’s Frank Wardlaw series, and Giant Under the Hill, co-written with Judith Linsley and Jo Ann Stiles. In 2002, Giant Under the Hill was chosen by the Texas State Historical Association as runner-up for Texas’ best history book and by the East Texas Historical Association as best history book on East Texas. Ellen is also a freelance violinist, performing with symphony orchestras in Southeast Texas and Louisiana as well as other solo, orchestral, and small ensemble engagements in Texas and Louisiana. She currently does contract work for the Nelda C. and H. J. Lutcher Stark Foundation in Orange as a writer and researcher.
